The Little Ghost that was a Quilt

Cara at the Cotton Gin is collaborating with the Frugal Frigate to bring the beloved children's book "The Ghost that was a Quilt" to life. Cara will be teaching the beginner friendly patchwork ghost quilt from the book, along with fabric kits available to make at home and The Fugal Frigate will have the books available. The story of "The Ghost that was a Quilt" is heartwarming and will become a family favorite while snuggling up with their very own quilt!

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
- Class fees must be paid at the time of registration. NO REFUNDS. Your spot in a class will only be held if you have paid. EXCEPTION: Store credit will be given if the course is canceled or if there is an unforeseen family emergency.
- Please refrain from wearing perfume for our allergic friends.
- We welcome you bringing a drink, but please ensure it is in a spill-proof container.
- Class sizes will typically be a maximum of 10 and a minimum of 2 students for a class to be held.
- If noted in the class supply list, a limited number of kits will be available. We encourage you to purchase your fabric before class day.
- Basic sewing supplies are required in all classes. A supply list will be available with specific tools if needed.
- Classes will start on time; please arrive 10-15 minutes early to set yourself up for class.
- For safety reasons, no kids under 16 in adult classes, please.
Requirements: | You will be sharing our classroom space with others. When you join our Cotton Gin community, please plan accordingly and respect the following guidelines: CLASS FEES: - Class fees must be paid at the time of registration. Your spot in a class will only be secured once you have paid. - Classes typically hold up to 8 students, with a minimum of 2 to be held. - There are NO REFUNDS. Store credit will be given if the course is canceled or for an unforeseen family emergency. CLASS SUPPLIES: A cutting station and ironing boards are provided to be shared by all participants. When a large amount of cutting or ironing is needed, please plan to do it at your table or home. - If noted in the class supply list, a limited number of kits will be available. We encourage you to purchase your kits early and fabric before class day. - Basic sewing supplies are required for all classes. A supply list of material and tools required for each class is available. CLASS ETIQUETTE: - Classes will start on time; please arrive 10-15 minutes early to set up for class. - All your supplies should fit on and under your single table (24” x 40”). - Sewing machine, small ironing station and cutting mat, etc. - All bags & rollers should fit under your table or be returned to your car. - No eating or drinking in class please. Water in a spill-proof container is OK. - Avoid perfume or strong scents (for our friends with allergies). - For safety reasons, participants should be 16 or older unless otherwise noted.
