General Class Information

Classes at Cotton Gin Fabric are held in our new, bright, and inviting classroom. You'll love sewing in this beautiful space! Class supplies are 15% off when purchased with us at our shop. 

GENERAL GUIDELINES:

• Please click on photos/headings of our Class listings to view full class details, supply lists, and registration. 
• Class fees must be paid at the time of registration. NO REFUNDS. Your spot in a class will only be held if you have paid. EXCEPTION: Store credit will be given if the course is canceled or if there is an unforeseen family emergency.
• Please refrain from wearing perfume for our allergic friends. 
• We welcome you bringing a drink, but please ensure it is in a spill-proof container.
• We encourage you to bring your own cushion or pillow to sit on during class, we want you to be as comfortable as possible!
• Class sizes will typically be a maximum of 10 and a minimum of 2 students for a class to be held.
• If noted in the class supply list, a limited number of kits will be available. We encourage you to purchase your fabric prior to class start date.
• Basic sewing supplies are required in all classes. A supply list will be available with specific tools if needed.
• We do have Husqvarna Viking Classroom machines that you’re more than welcome to use during class. There is a $25 fee AND you will have to purchase the bobbins and thread for this machine if used in-store. Classes will start at it's designated time. Please arrive 10-20 minutes early to class so that you have enough time to set up your sewing station and purchase any last minute items.
  • We do encourage you to bring your own sewing machine to help familiarize and get you comfortable with your own personal sewing machine.
  • If you plan on bringing your own, we do ask that you check the equipment prior to class to make sure it's in good working order.
• If you are in an all-day class, you will be able to break for lunch. We are more than happy to give you food recommendations that are in the surrounding area. Just ask our staff! Otherwise you are more than welcome to bring you lunch and store it in our fridge.
• For safety reasons, no kids under 16 in adult classes, please.
