Level 1 Beginner The Log Cabin quilt design dates back to pioneer days. It is the perfect project for a beginning quilter. In this class you will learn how to choose colors, learn about all the different tools used in quilt making, how to use a rotary cutter, basic piecing techniques, simple quilting and last but not least how to put on binding. You do not need all of these supplies for the Intro class. Just bring the Make A Quilt in a Day Log Cabin Pattern book by Eleanor Burns, and a pencil and paper to take notes.
