This class is an introduction to collage quilting. You will pick one of the patterns and curated kits at Cotton Gin for an 8” collage, called Whatevers. We will work together to create this small collage. You will learn methods for fusing and embellishing these small quilts. You can make your creation into a pot holder, a table runner, pillow, or frame it and hang it on the wall. Whatever!

This beginner - friendly class focuses on continuing to build confidence and basic sewing skills step by step. Students will bring their own sewing machines (or rent one from Cotton Gin) and grow in their knowledge on how to use them and complete a simple project each class. Each session will introduce new skills with hands - on instruction and individual support in a small class setting. All required supplies must be purchased prior to class. We can’t wait to sew with you.
